THE STORY OF LAVENDER WITH LOVE

The Pursuit of Exceptional, Incomparable Quality

Our passion for excellence has driven us from the beginning, and continues to drive us into the future.

Since 2015, Lavender With Love has learned, grown, and experienced new ways to refine our growing and producing craft. None of it would be possible without the love and support of each other, our friends and family, and our valued customers. We look forward to the coming years of sharing our love and lavender with our community and beyond.

LETTER FROM JUSTINE

I’m Justine (the girl on the right) and that’s my mom and stepdad, Mikie and Norm. We live in southwest Montana in the small town of Hamilton. Living in Montana, and especially this area has been such a gift, walking outside every morning to the crisp clean air, watching the Bitterroot Mountains ignite with the golden hue of the morning sun and watching little furry critters saunter through the back yard looking for breakfast. It’s no wonder they call it ‘The Last Best Place.”
Montana has been my home since I was born.

Originally from Lewistown, then Missoula, and now here in Hamilton. I’m a photographer, certified yoga instructor, proud Dog mom, and have recently found my passion for all things lavender. Getting my hands dirty in the field, endless days crouched over in the hot sun tending to plants, learning the ins and outs of owning a business and just being around and working with my family has brought more joy to my life then ever thought possible.
Mikie, recently retired from a 25+ year career in nursing to work full time on our Lavender With Love farm. The amount of love and care she puts into each plant, task, and action truly makes this farm what it is. All her years tending to gardens, house plants, and anything that grows has made her the perfect soul for this endeavor of growing lavender. You will most likely find her out in the field pulling weeds, talking to our plants, or handing out belly rubs to one or all of the six dogs running around the farm.

Norm, the man of the hour! We wouldn’t have a farm if it weren’t for him. Retired from the National Park Service in Alaska, Norm found his way to Montana over 20 years ago. First living in Seeley Lake, then finally making his way south to Hamilton, settling where we are today. He was having a conversation one day with a friend who wanted to start a lavender field but had the wrong climate in his area to do so. After a little research and planning we ended up with 2,200 lavender plants at our door and a handful of friends and family ready to plant. Norm is also our head distiller, troubleshooter, and always makes sure we have enough supplies, tools, and water (for us and our plants) to get the job done!
